18.360 Floodplain Management Ordinance

18.360.410 Definitions

Unless specifically defined below, words or phrases used in this Chapter shall be interpreted so as to give them the same meaning they have in common usage and to give this Chapter its most reasonable application.

Base flood elevation means elevation indicated in the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) or approved by the Floodplain Administrator as the water surface elevation of the base flood.
