13.48 Vehicle Weight Limits on Bridges
13.48.010 Gross Weight Limits on Bridges.
The City Engineer may determine and declare maximum gross weight limits on roadway bridges in accordance with Section 12.04.196.2.

13.48.020 Liability.
Any person, firm, association, partnership or corporation driving, operating or moving any vehicle, object, or contrivance upon the bridges as designated in Section 13.48.010 and in violation of the weight restrictions as set forth in Section 13.48.010 shall be liable for all damages which said bridges or structures may sustain as a result of any operation, driving or moving of such vehicle, object, contrivance, weighing in excess of the maximum weight as set forth in Section 13.48.010.

13.48.030 Violation.
Any person, firm, partnership or cor poration violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a public offense and upon conviction shall be subject to the general penalty provi sions of 1.12.010.
