6.04.045 Presentation of Animal.

The owner, keeper or harborer of any dog or cat shall physically produce the animal for observation, identification or inspection when requested to do so by a City animal control officer or law enforcement officer investigating a violation of the animal control and/or welfare laws of the City, provided the officer has probable cause to believe a crime or violation of the animal control laws has been committed. Failure to do so is a violation of this title.
