2.09.335 Succession of Emergency Powers.

If the mayor is not able to exercise the powers and discharge the duties specified in this ordinance, or is unavailable, the order of succession for the exercise of emergency powers shall be as follows:

1. A.
   The Council President;
2. B.
   The Chairpersons of the Council Committees in the following order: Public Safety; Public Works; Finance, Administration and Economic Development; and Community Development.

If all such officers are not able or are unavailable to discharge the emergency powers specified in this ordinance, the City Manager, or the official designee of the City Manager, shall exercise these powers.
