6.12.030 Enforcement of Quarantine.

It shall be the duty of all Animal Control Officers, or anyone having the authority of an Animal Control Officer, law enforcement officers, or those having the authority of law enforcement officers to enforce such quarantine. The City Manager and the Chief of Police shall have the right to deputize school guards and other persons as needed. Such deputized persons need not seize such animals but shall aid in determining the owner to the end that warrants of arrest can be issued against the violating owners.
