5.51 Oil & Gas

5.51.030 Definitions.

The following terms as used in this chapter shall, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, have the respective meanings herein set forth. These definitions supplement those contained in Section 1.04.010.

To the extent that these definitions may conflict with those contained in 1.04.010, these definitions shall control:

    Desertion- Shall mean the leaving of equipment on a site beyond the prescribed time, the failure to plug a well as required, or the failure to restore the site as required.
